Srinagar, May 22: A tipper driver died on spot after his vehicle turned turtle near Wuyan area of Pampore town here in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Police sources told news agency KNT that a tipper (JK01AL-5859) was ferrying boulders when driver lost control over it and it turned turtle, resulting in the on spot death of its driver.
Sources identified the deceased driver as Abdul Gani Dar son of Ghulam Ahmed Dar, a resident of Wathpora Lasjaan area of Srinagar outskirts.
The slain driver was over 50 years old.
Police registered a case in this regard. (KNT)
