Srinagar, 14 May: Weather turned out to be pleasant during past couple of days. Mostly dry weather was observed over most parts of the Union Territory of J&K which led to the increase in day temperature.
Now a fresh spell of rain is likely from today over most parts of the UT.
“A spell of moderate rainfall is expected over most parts of the UT in upcoming 15 hours. It may be accompanied by thunder & gusty winds over few places”, said Faizan Arif, individual weather forecaster, Kashmir_Weather.
As per him, Srinagar recorded maximum temperature of 25.2 degrees Celsius yesterday.
Kokernag, Qazigund & Pahalgam in South Kashmir recorded a high of 23.9, 25.8 & 22.4 degrees Celsius respectively.
Gulmarg & Kupwara in North Kashmir recorded maximum of 15.0 & 25.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
