If someone does not have it, then he can also be deprived of getting the benefits of many government schemes. Since the start of the corona epidemic, the government has started distributing free ration to 80 crore people of the country through the Prime Minister’s Garib Kalyan Yojana. Through the ration card, the right people get the benefit of the scheme, so the government has made it necessary to link the ration card with the Aadhar card.


 
Earlier, the government had fixed the deadline till 31 March 2022 for linking the ration card with Aadhaar. Later it was increased to 30 June 2022. Actually, the purpose of linking the ration card with the Aadhar card is to properly implement the government’s ‘One Nation One Ration Card’ scheme. With this, the beneficiaries will get the benefit that they will be able to get ration from anywhere in the country. Along with this, if the ration card is linked with Aadhaar, fraud will also be curbed in it and ineligible people will not be able to take advantage of this scheme.

The government has given both online and offline options to link the ration card with Aadhaar. To link the ration card with the offline Aadhar card, you will have to submit the copy of the Aadhar card, the copy of the ration card and the passport size photo of the ration card holder at the ration depot. You can also do biometric data verification of your Aadhar card at the ration depot.

First of all go to the official website of Aadhar uidai.gov.in.
After that click on Start Now option, fill your address.
After this, fill the information of the state and district.
After this select the option ‘Ration Card Benefit’.
Next, fill the Aadhaar, ration number and e-mail address.
After this, OTP will come on the registered mobile number linked with Aadhaar, which is to be entered.
After doing this again, both will be linked together.
